EASY CARES FOUNDATION
ABOUT
Formed during the COVID pandemic of 2020, the Easy Cares Foundation is actively involved in the distribution of food, care packages, and meals for the greater Seattle community. In partnership with Doug Baldwin Jr.\Family First Community Center Foundation, Urban Family, U-Power, and several other organizations we are committed to the service of our surrounding areas. We provide sustainable jobs with health insurance for our employees. We also seek to provide financial aid for our employees that are in school.
We are based in Seattle, serving Washington State.
ACTION
We have delivered over 160,000 lbs of food to date to local food banks, and we have been involved in distributing over 1000 care packages to marginalized and homeless communities since March 2020.
Currently in 2021, we are still continuing our work with Doug Baldwin Jr. and the Family First Community Center Foundation. We deliver to the Central Area Senior Center, the First African Methodist Episcopal Church, and care packages to the homeless community in Lake City, North Seattle.
We are currently setting up the framework for a rehabilitation program, designed to help homeless folks with housing assistance and drug treatment. Our focus has always been on assisting those less fortunate, but we want to take it a step further and actually provide a realistic path out of homelessness for those that seek to make a change.
